Our Mission Statement
At the Knock Out MS Foundation, we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to help people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological disease involving the central nervous system where the immune system attacks myelin, which is the protective covering of the nerves. This causes miscommunication between the brain and the rest of the body. Just a few of the many symptoms are vision problems, muscle weakness, pain, fatigue, cognitive and mobility issues. We believe in taking action in order to raise public awareness of this debilitating disease. We prioritize our fundraising efforts to help people living in and around the Baton Rouge area that have been diagnosed with MS. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in improving the lives of those living with Multiple Sclerosis and working toward a cure.

How We Began...
Our founder and President, Christina Carville, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2017, after which she made a promise to her children and family. She promised that she would work every day to not only fight for a cure, but also to help create a platform for those living with MS. She has worked closely with the National MS Society for years, helping with fundraising and advocacy. Even with all of this work, she realized that Baton Rouge needed a firm platform to not only raise funds but also awareness. She knew that people living with Multiple Sclerosis in her local community needed a voice. In order to do that she started this foundation and along with her Board of Directors, family, and friends, have worked and will continue to work toward this effort.
